The service

RetextImage helps you edit short text in images you own or are authorized to edit. Local controlled mode fills the selected rectangle with a solid color and draws your replacement with a selected bundled font. Cloud modes are available only when enabled for the deployment.

Results can contain mistakes or visual differences. Review the text, letter shapes, background, and suitability before using an image. The service does not recover an exact font file, its license, or the original editable layers.

Your account

Cloud editing requires an account and, where required, a verified email address. Keep your credentials secure and use an account you control. Do not attempt to access another person’s private images, reuse private upload links, evade service limits, or interfere with other users’ jobs.

Your images and permitted use

You retain the rights you already hold in your uploaded content. Editing an image does not grant rights to its underlying artwork, trademarks, or fonts. You are responsible for having permission to edit and use the material.

Do not use the service to misrepresent evidence, identity, transactions, or another person’s communications. The service may restrict abuse and content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Edit credits

Local editing does not use cloud edit credits. When cloud editing is enabled, a job reserves the stated credit amount when accepted. One credit is used when a preview passes the required system checks and becomes available to inspect. The job may include one internal corrective attempt within its processing limits.

Technical failures and system-detected validation failures release the reservation. A released credit returns to the available balance only if its original expiry has not passed. Failure and cancellation do not extend credit expiry or create rollover.

A completed preview can still differ from your preferred style. Choosing another generation is a new job with a new, clearly stated credit cost. Reporting a result issue does not automatically refund credits. Downloading or re-downloading an available result does not use another credit.

Cancellation

Queued jobs can be canceled. A running or validating job can be canceled only if cancellation is accepted before successful settlement and then confirmed. A completed preview cannot be canceled to reverse its credit use. The application shows the confirmed state and any release to available or expired credits.

Plans and purchases

When checkout is available, review the price and billing interval before completing payment. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until canceled through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Viewing a plan or opening checkout does not complete a purchase.

Annual plans are billed annually while credits refresh monthly without rollover. Local editing is free and does not consume credits. Paid credits are for the enabled cloud controlled editor; they do not provide access to experimental AI style matching.

Contact support to request a review of a duplicate payment, technical issue, or subscription charge. A request does not automatically reverse a charge. A credit release for an image job is separate from a subscription refund.

Retention and availability

Download results you want to keep. Local previews are held in the current browser session, and cloud images expire according to the published retention policy. The service is not a long-term image archive.
